I want fall to come soon and you ask why? Summer is great.. summer has never been my favorite season but I do anticipate summer because the change of the seasons! I look forward to July 4th because I then feel summer is halfway gone! Then the countdown begins! I love fall clothing! The colors and the soft chunky sweaters, boot cut jeans, and boots tall and ankle alike! I actually went shopping today for my store and did buy gorgeous sweaters and jackets for the fall season!
Some women are sad that fall is coming but it is the most wonderful time of the year!! Plus I do hate summer clothing except the cute summer maxi dress. Maybe I have body issues? Oh well nothing my fall wardrobe won't solve. It is time to start thinking about our fall wardrobe and start the shopping or at least taking a mental picture.
Here are some outfits that Glamour is advising us to start thinking about putting these away for the season.
1. Sweater over a Dress.
This is a great transition piece but can take you well into the winter season. In the fall pair with a finer knit and when it gets colder have a more chunky knit.
2. Wool Fringe Vest
Fringe is a huge trend for the season and this long vest is so versatile. Great with your all black office wear or a dress but this would be fabulous with a jean and a basic tee. So plan on wearing this with almost everything!!!
3. Long Tunic
This is a perfect transition piece. Since most of us have this in our spring and summer wardrobe this will carry us in to the transition period. Most of us wore this bare leg and with the colder months pair with over your casual. dress pant and even your boyfriend jeans!
4. LAYER!
The one thing about fall and winter especially this year is layer. There is something so classy and elegant about a classic color sweater under a white crisp blouse.
5. Short Sleeve Blouse with long sleeve tee!
This is another layering option especially if you don't want to put your favorite short sleeve blouse away!
6. Field Twill Jacket!
I love a field jacket or barn jacket! This is perfect for fall annual pumpkin picking or fall hayrides!
7. Drape Jacket
This is a great jacket but the style is different as in years past go for a long style and put the short style on hold.. donate it.. because if and when it comes around you will want a new one. I don't like holding on to trends. I want the room in my closet! One of the pictures shows this over a culottes( which is a HOT TREND)
8. Overalls!
Yes overalls! These are a hot trend for fall and layer this with a sweater. Great with a trendy turtleneck or with a Nordic style and unbutton one side.
9. Flare or Belle Dress pant
I love a flare leg pant and love it even more with a dress crop pant. Pair them with the same top or sweater as you would your traditional dress pant.
10. Long sweater over a pencil skirt
This is a cute style but I would be careful not to hide the skirt as it may look like you are wearing a dress and the skirt gets covered.
11. White Chunky Sweater
Come fall don't shy away from whites! I love wearing a crisp white blouse for the fall season. Here is a trend that will be perfect! Actually chunky sweaters are a trend as well as turtlenecks come fall!
12. Suede!!!!
Suede is a big deal for the fall and this carried over from the fall. I also love a faux suede to save some money.. with my store you will pay about the same price for real suede then you would pay for faux suede or what designers like to call moleskin.
Fall is my favorite time of year!

I may be crazy but am I the only one that hates wearing clothing more then a few times. Except for jeans....
