Today is the first full day of fall! I know the weather will continue to play tricks on us with the fall

cool air then the afternoon.. it is in the 80's!!1 Here in Ohio it was chilly this morning and then it will climb to the 80's. If you are anxious like I am to wear your fall clothing here are some outfits that will feed your fix but always make you comfortable!

We are in a transition and we need to layer our clothing! Even our work outfits! I think it is time to swap out your tee shirts and get the thin sweaters out. I would also get the jackets out so you can start layering.

1. Motorcycle Jacket! Over a dress. This look is great for work and then a night out!

2. Thin Sweater with Ankle pant and Sandals

You can still wear your sandals for a few more weeks This is a great color combination! Yellow and gray..

3. White suit for fall

I love a white suit! I personally think a white suit can be worn year round

4. A Striped Skirt A-Line and a Thin Sweater that is layered. 

5. Layer your sleeveless dress

 

6.  Utility Jumpsuit for a casual day!

7.  Print Blouse with a rich Fall Camel Pant...

8. Floral Print Dress with a Blazer!

9.  Denim Jumpsuit.. 

10.  Layer a Mini Dress and add a bootie

11. Striped Shirt with Denim.. Layer with a jacket

12. Collared Dress with a Ankle Strap Heel

13. Wear Oxblood!!! Hot color for fall also know as Marsala!!

Best Dressed from last night!

Wow.. What a night... Great fashion and we learn what is hot and

really the fashion forecast. There were many stars dressed so well but these 10 went above and beyond! 
The hottest trend was Metallic.. Shimmer..

1. Clare Danes: Wearing Prada.. Great color for the fall season. Chain detail (which is HOT) and then the shimmer. This dress is gorgeous!

Sunday Best

Sunday Best!!

Growing up Catholic I was told we needed to dress up for church as you are

going into the presence of God and we need to give him our best. I do still agree with this. Does that mean no jeans? No I wear jeans but they are presentable and you look classy. I would not wear my ripped jeans.  When I met my husband he was Methodist and I was catholic. We decided that we would go to the Methodist church. Recently I have gone back to Catholic and he and my son go to a non denominationa and I go to mass on Saturday night and then we all go on Sunday morning! It has worked well.  The point is that fashion is important I do not care what religion you believe in or not believe in.

Like a good Catholic girl I went to church on Sunday and as I was trying to concentrate on the mass, a girl stood up and all I could think was "did she go to the wrong place?" Obviously she was not dressed appropriate for mass—a tight dress with over the knee boots screams more clubbing than church if you ask me. So, if you want to look fashionable at mass but still be on God's good list, here are few ideas that will send you straight to heaven.

You will never go wrong with a shift, an A-line or a wrap dress like Here are some dresses from my Store 

Just make sure the dress hits you right on the knees or below. I would stay away from dresses that are too short or too tight.  Add a cardigan,  some pearls and you are set.

If you are not into dresses, try a pencil skirt  

Here are some skirts from my Store

 (make sure it's not extremely tight—leave that for your next hot date) or an A-line skirt. They are not only feminine but also look good on most body types. Pair it with a pretty blouse and pair of pumps.

If you are more of a pants kind of chica, why not wear your favorite pair of jeans? I love Here are some Jeans from my store.

 Of course you have to dress them up! I once wore a pair of blue colored jeans with a pretty yellow blazer, a white t-shirt and some flats. I went straight from church to a date with my husband and all I did was changed my shoes!  You can wear your jeans or pants with pretty much everything, just make sure you don't wear crop tops, spaghetti straps or show too much cleavage.

Tip: leave the high stilettos at home. As much as I love my prosti shoes (aka heels), I don't wear them to church. Instead, try heels that are lower than 3 inches. Pumps are a great choice to wear with a shift dress, a pencil skirt or pants. Other pieces to stay away from are shorts, leggings, tight or short dresses and skirts, sandals, flip flops, and of course, see through blouses.

New York City Street Style and why should we care?

New York City Street Style!!

Spring Fashion week in New York City happened this past week and as

usual we saw crazy wild non practical outfits. Rule.. fashion week in New York, Paris, Milan is just really a show. It is not a look what I am going to wear come spring of 2016. What is really important is who is there and the party afterward. 

Fashion week also emerges the fashionista that walks the street of New York City. Fashion trends start really on the street.. What are the most fashionable women in NYC are wearing. You may not put any of the outfits you see here together but.. you can take one thing from each of these..

Raincoats and a Funny Story..

Raincoats!!!! 

Ok.. First to get a laugh!! I well my husband likes my blond hair better then my

I will need to update this..

dark brown hair.. 1st mistake.. I specifically bought a color that to turn dark brown hair blond! Well That did not work.. Notice the orange color in my font... yes... my hair is orange!! So I will b spending my day getting someone to fix my hair!

Ok.. so lets think back to when we were in grade school... The plastic raincoats that made you uncomfortable and sweat. I had a purple see through plastic raincoat and 9 times out of 10 guess what? It never rained. I am scared of raincoats as much as the normal girl. Just bring an umbrella right.. but these stylish raincoats are a fashion staple!!  We see a rainy day when we first wake up and some of us say.. oh no.. my hair will it style the way I want it... what shoes to wear? Everything seems like a task when we see Rain!
