Must have wardrobe tricks needed for the fashionista!

We buy the clothes we want but how do we make them look great on us! Many times we like the

clothes or buy them and hate them because they do not look good on us! Well sometimes it takes a little work on our part.. the specs are usually not to our body type. So my job as a personal stylist is to find the perfect dress, outfit, and accessories but it is also my job that it fits perfect and not to get my customers discouraged when it does not because it can be fixed. Sometimes the style or trend just does not work.

1. Tailor.. Tailor...

Tailor hemlines and armholes.. This makes a big difference! You can look ok or your can look pulled together... Get things that FIT!!!

Tailor everything so it fits perfect. Pay attention to hems and armholes.

2. Wear shapewear

This is a must.. wear it.. period... thinking I have a great body why do I need shapewear. Women of all body types need to wear shapewear..  even models wear Spanx! why? It smooths.. gets rid of bumps and lumps!! Make sure you have a spanx short in your wardrobe it smooths out hips, tummy's and legs. Outfits that are for a special occasion you want to look your best and pretty much perfect!

Is it worth not to just wear the Spanx!!!

3. No Visible Panty Line...

There is no excuse to have a visible panty line.. There are so many products out there..  why have a expensive or the perfect outfit when you panty line is right there in front of everyone.. You can have a $1,000 outfit but the panty line looks like you went to Walmart!

4. FIT FIT FIT.. 

I know I covered it already but just making sure your hems and armholes are perfect if you are going to an event.. take pictures from all angles! Take pictures from front.. back and side. If you see something that is not quite right get to your tailor.. Yes make sure you have a Tailor!

5.  Show some ankle..

 yes it is ok to show a little ankle! Showing the ankle is a little more cleaner then having a pant that is way too long! Hem them just a little above your ankle!

6. Find Your Uniform!

Everyone should have a definite go to outfit!!! Figure out what styles look best on you and invest in different versions of the same pieces. Be creative with accessories!
